چکیده

The spatiotemporal distributions and physical–optical properties of aerosols are great scientific significance for the study climate change atmospheric environment. What characteristics in constant high humidity? Continuous wet weather (CWW) is a special phenomenon that occurs frequently during late winter early spring South China. In this study, CALIPSO satellite data ERA5 MERRA-2 reanalysis used to analyze aerosol optical total 68 CWW processes from 2012 2021 Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macau Greater Bay Area (GBA). We attempt explore variations meteorological conditions before-stage, wet-stage, after-stage under different humidity levels. results show prevailing wind direction northeasterly temperature lower influence cold pressure before-stage. Moreover, depth (AOD) mainly regional transport. During clean ocean airflow causes AOD remain at low level, whereas increase significantly. wet-stage ends with coldness when it controlled by again. circulation similar However, remarkable feature there inversion layer, which significant AOD. This reveals three stages mechanism factors on aerosols, can provide basis future.

Aerosol properties derived from aircraft multiangle imaging over Monterey Bay

The first generic and climatological aerosol retrievals using AirMISR data are presented. Multiangle observations at 672 and 867 nm, in a cloud-free region over dark water in Monterey Bay on June 29, 1999, yield complementary generic and climatological results. The generic retrieval produces cross-section-weighted, column-mean aerosol properties: midvisible aerosol optical depth between 0.05 an...

Aerosol Optical Properties and Direct Radiative Effects over Central China

Central China is important for aerosols and climate because it is among the worst regions for air pollution in China. However, it is understudied due to a lag in establishing an atmospheric monitoring network. So we did a comprehensive analysis using multiple techniques to improve the understanding of aerosol optical properties and their radiative effect in this region. The results showed that ...

Seasonal variations in aerosol optical properties over China

[1] Seasonal variations in background aerosol optical depth (AOD) and aerosol type are investigated over various ecosystems in China based upon three years’ worth of meteorological data and data collected by the Chinese Sun Hazemeter Network. In most parts of China, AODs are at a maximum in spring or summer and at a minimum in autumn or winter. Minimum values (0.10∼0.20) of annual mean AOD at 5...

control of the optical properties of nanoparticles by laser fields

Toward characterization of the aerosol optical properties over Loess Plateau of Northwestern China

Aerosol optical properties were obtained from a CIMEL sunphotometer of the Aerosol Robotic Network at the Semi-Arid Climate and Environment Observatory of Lanzhou University (SACOL). SACOL is located over the Loess Plateau of the Northwestern China. The observed data are analyzed for the period of August 2006–October 2008. We find that aerosol optical depths (AODs) have a pronounced annual cycl...
